1st Thanksgiving Dinner

This was my first thanksgiving dinner. My back up plan was a local burger joint called Arctic Circle. Thankfully I had my sister there and with the two of us we managed to pull it off. However, my kitchen looked like a hurricane went through it (you can never have too much counter space) There was a reason that God made women to multitask. I also wasn't aware it took both math and science to calculate when each dish had to be done just at the right time so that by the time you got done with the last one the first one wasn't already cold. But like I said it all went wonderfully and we ate too much like always.

Good thing mom wasn't there...I don't think she would have approved. (Actually it just wasn't quite the same without the whole family. Besides things just never taste as good as mom's)

My smile of relief that the turkey looked edible

Chris also learned how to carve a turkey and did a wonderful job. Love you hun!

Didn't quite get to the table cloth...besides I didn't think it would go with the office chairs.

Oops! This is where arguing will get you...holding hands?!
It was too cute not to take a picture. I don't think Caitlyn and Michael appreciated me capturing that on camera.

After turkey nap

Caitlyn showing off that she is six and a very smart six year old

Say "Cheeeeese"

Our after turkey walk and Neka walking Caitlyn

And of course pie

We survived Thanksgiving and didn't even have to go to Arctic Circle. We were very thankful to have family with us and are sad they are gone. We hope you guys had a wonderful thanksgiving as well.
