Cloth diapers

We decided to start a new adventure this week... cloth diapers! Chris and I were in Boise a few days ago and took the plunge meaning we bought enough cloth diapers that should get us by and should only have to wash them every other day. Since I will be home most of the time I decided to take on the challenge and in the long run this will save us money. These kind of cloth diapers aren't cheap so when you decide you want to do it there is no turning back and there is the big word COMMITMENT :) So it was kind of scary... but I think it will be good.

We love this little girl:)

This is how I found her when she was left with her daddy

Diaper Bag

This is going to be my little brag page :) Chris bought me a sewing machine for my birthday and I have had a lot of fun with some various projects my latest one was a diaper bag using one of Amy Butlers patterns. It was a lot of steps but I must say I impressed myself because it actually looks like what it is supposed to look like (and I only had to seem rip 3 times) And of course I will end this post with some more pictures of Avery so you can all see she continues to grow and grow, if only there was a way to pause time.

Here it is Stacey...

Complete with inside pockets!

Perfect size for my baby...

Another project; nursing cover

Is that a smile?

Mom thinks they are :)

Loves that tongue, its hard work sitting in a Bumbo

Updates

She is already a month old, it's hard to believe how fast the time has gone. After getting past the first week she has been a really good baby and it seems like she changes everyday. So we will try to keep up with our blog. We already can't imagine life without her! Enjoy :)
